Back to the Stone Age
Really? Is this how stupid the right wing echo chamber is? Climate change deniers hit more new lows in this outrageous CNBC clip. Not only does Dennis Kneale have no clue who his guest Chris Hayes is (research? that’s for elitist leftists!), he coins a whole slew of new grade-school put-downs for environmentalism. When did CNBC become the Fox News of money talk? Total garbage.

to be credible in the business media world, these guys have to resist environmentalism, it’s called being a smart business man, noone would watch CNBC if they though it was gonna lose them money. Not sure that they really need such a loud mouthed asshole for the task though, fun to see him confronted by his guests though.
remember- being the loudest guy in the room is a great substitute for being the smartest

European companies have repeatedly demonstrated that getting ahead of the curve on environmental standards actually saves tons of money and leads to greater profits faster than dragging feet and obfuscation. The battle is principally ideological. Once again the corporatist right (represented by both Republican and Democratic sleezeballs) is having its way with us. I hope those summer homes are worth it when there’s nobody left to clean them, no potable water to drink in them and no safe air to breathe around them.

i guess what I meant was that in order for CNBC to get and retain viewers, they are expected to represent “good business” whether it’s true or not. If they don’t, people won’t trust them and turn to foxbusiness news. We are told repeatedly that environmentalism is bad business or expensive, people believe it, the programmers want those viewers. Has nothing to do with fact or reasonable debate, only ratings.
